He left immediately before she could ask him his name or introduce him to her friends. She felt even more guiltier to probe him about his girlfriend. “I know that guy. He helped her to rise up. She moaned with pain as she rose up. She limped while she tried to walk. "You don't seem good. Let me take you to the doctor to treat your wound.", he said. "No, I am fine. I think I can manage", she smiled weakly. "Fine", he said softly. He didn't insist her with his offer to help. She limped few steps and then fell down. She cried in pain. He rushed towards her and helped her again to rise up. "At least let me drop you where you are going. With this pace, you will only make pain get worse and you will reach your location tomorrow.", he spoke with tinge of humor. Her college was few more blocks away. Three years had passed. Still those memories were fresh in her mind. It was a sunny morning. She got ready for college. She was bored resting at home due to flu. Now that she was feeling fine, she decided to go to college. She sneaked through the kitchen to get some breakfast. Unfortunately her mom arrived just in time to catch her red handed.  She stood behind her with her hands folded and stern expressions. “I told you to stay at home .  The road was quite empty except for few cars passing by. The radio played in the background while she continued driving. "Few more hours.", she whispered hoping she would reach on time. Suddenly the radio stopped playing. She sighed in anger. However she didn't try to fix it instead concentrated on the road. It was strangely getting cold. She switched off the AC and pressed the heater button on. She felt warmer now. But it didn't take long for warm to become hotter. Slowly droplets of perspiration formed on her forehead. She pressed the heater button off and rolled the window down. The car was acting strange. She decided to take the car to service station as soon as she came back from the trip.  She was immersed in pain. Her eyes were still closed. She almost forgot that there was a storm coming up and she had to reach grandma's place on time. It was late afternoon in George Town, Malaysia.  Richa was driving towards her grandmother's place which was six hours drive from the city. It was going to be long drive as well as long weekend. She switched on the radio to wile away the time. "We are expecting heavy downpour tonight .", the weatherman said. She huffed. It wasn't something new in a tropical island.  In midst of journey , traffic started piling up. The four lane highway that once used to be empty, was jam packed with traffic.
