The Love Song - Part 3

 The road was quite empty except for few cars passing by. The radio played in the background while she continued driving. "Few more hours.", she whispered hoping she would reach on time. Suddenly the radio stopped playing. She sighed in anger. However she didn't try to fix it instead concentrated on the road.

It was strangely getting cold. She switched off the AC and pressed the heater button on. She felt warmer now. But it didn't take long for warm to become hotter. Slowly droplets of perspiration formed on her forehead. She pressed the heater button off and rolled the window down. The car was acting strange. She decided to take the car to service station as soon as she came back from the trip.

In midst of journey, the window rolled up unexpectedly. This sent shivers down her spine. She screeched her car to the side of the road and stopped the car. She pressed the lock button to open the door. As she tried to get out, she felt something pull her hand and push her to the seat. The door were automatically locked . She felt some invisible entity put seat belts on her.

The engine started on its own and car drove on maximum speed. She screamed out on top of her lungs. There was no one on the road. There were no cars passing by. She was alone in a possessed car. 

Suddenly the car screeched to halt. The doors were unlocked and opened. The seat belts loosened . She instantly got out of car and ran for few miles before she tripped and fell. She cried uncontrollably. 

Memories of the past reappeared in her mind. Her heart was filled with pain and sadness. She wished she had not met him. She wished she had listened to her mom for once. She wished she had opened her eyes to his evil side instead putting blind eye to all his mistakes. But now it was too late.
