The Bungalow Number 420 - Part 5
Rohan hated the clause. As per the clause, he had to share 50% of profits earned from sale of this house with Manoj. By sharing 50% with his friend , he couldn’t enjoy the profits fully. He needed Manoj for bringing the buyers. He had no knowledge of how real estate business worked. He wished he had known this trade then he wouldn’t had to depend on Manoj.
He walked out to patio and locked the main door. He got inside the car and started the engine. He looked at the house one last time. It looked beautiful. His childhood memories in this house were fresh in his mind. He had an attachment to this house. He never wanted to sell it. But his business was failing. He needed money.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Suddenly cold air brushed back of his neck, sending him tingling sensation. “You were a failure and will always be a failure.”, a ghostly voice hissed. He immediately opened his eyes. He turned back to see who it was. There was no one in the back seat. He drove the car as fast as he could. But there was someone. It was same ghostly figure who had killed Kevin. It wasn’t visible to Rohan.
Manoj stared at the computer screen. He was checking the blueprint of mall on his computer. The mall was going to be built on the same land that belonged to Rohan. Everything was going perfectly. He had made perfect scheme to dupe Rohan. He had met Rohan on project. He knew from the beginning that the project had no scope . It was only beginning to make Rohan spend unnecessarily. His friend was gullible. He fell easily on his trap.
He remembered how Rohan’s aunt had asked him not to agree to his project plans. But the young lad was typical rebel. He paid no heed to his aunt. He agreed to invest all his money to the project. The project failed and his friend was in huge debt. He smiled thinking about how his innocent friend had begged him to help him.
He had suggested him to sell the house. Rohan didn’t agree initially. It was his aunt’s property. It was still in her name. One fine day, she died mysteriously and the property was in his name as he was the sole heir. He came to him with the property papers next day and asked him to help him to sell the house. Everything went smoothly as per the plan but then the worse happened.
