The Bungalow number 420- Part 1

The Bungalow number 420 stood lone at the empty street. There were no houses or buildings around the house. The night was cold. Strong winds were blowing. A young man of early thirties sat on patio floor, enjoying his drink. The smell of wine intoxicated his mind. The cold winds didn’t bother him.

He stared at the stars. Indeed, luck was on his side. Tomorrow he would be owner of this house. He only had to make final instalment and sign papers tomorrow. He dreamt of nights he would spend like this. His dream had finally came true.

He was in his own world. He didn’t realise a dark shadow was standing behind him. He was above to take one last sip of drink. He looked at his glass. He tilted it little bit to get closer view. The glass was empty. He made a face. He got up but almost slipped on the floor. However he managed to stand still.  The shadow disappeared before he could see it.

He strolled inside in disorderly fashion. He stood near the bar. After few minutes of staring blankly at the bar, he took out the slender wine bottle . He poured the drink into the glass. He swirled the glass to smell the drink. He took one sip and turned around to go outside.

He was horrified to see a black shadow near the main door. He was terrified. He rubbed his eyes continuously to see whether he was dreaming. He brushed the thought there was anything near the door. He blamed himself for watching horror flicks. He walked with courage toward the main door.

He walked into the shadow. He felt a shock inside his body. He stopped in his track. He looked behind. There was no one. He sighed and continued to open the door. When he opened the door, he was shocked to see frightened shadow in front of him.
